The Distinguished Experts serve as guide on the side in our movement, supporting the mission to strengthen the education ecosystem through research, advocacy, and public engagement.

PATRYA PRATAMA

Patrya is the founding CEO of INSPIRASI Foundation, an Indonesian nonprofit with a mission to improve school leadership in the country. The organization researches and provides capacity building to more than 1,000 school leaders throughout Indonesia.

Patrya’s previous experience covers the intersection of policy, politics, and development, including being a teacher for the Teach for Indonesia program, researcher for J-PAL and the World Bank, and staff for the Indonesian Ministry of Education and Jakarta provincial government.

Holding a Master's in Public Policy from LKY School, NUS and London School of Economics, Patrya is excited to strengthen school leadership collectively.

CITRA OVANI

With over a decade of experience as a recruitment consultant and as the founder of HuntHire, Citra has spent the past 15 years helping companies across Southeast Asia find the right talent.

Throughout this journey, she has witnessed firsthand how the quality of education directly shapes the workforce. She has seen the challenges employers face in finding skilled, well-prepared candidates—not just in terms of technical capability, but also in mindset and attitude.

This experience has inspired a strong desire in her to contribute to improving Indonesia’s education system. She believes that hiring is the outcome of education, and that by bridging the gap between industry needs and institutional offerings, a stronger future can be built.

By joining IIER, Citra aims to share valuable insights on job market trends, evolving skill demands, and talent gaps, supporting institutions in shaping programs that address real-world challenges.
