Accessibility Commitment
Indonesian Institute for Education Reform is dedicated to ensuring that its website is accessible and functional for all users, regardless of disability, device type, or internet speed. We are committed to continually enhancing the user experience and implementing applicable accessibility standards. We also welcome feedback from users who encounter difficulties accessing any part of educationreform.id.
Website Features
- Each page includes a “skip to content” link, enabling users to bypass navigation and move directly to the main content.
- Titles, headings, body text, links, and other key design elements have been developed to ensure adequate color and contrast ratios.
- Interactive components, including navigation menus, links, and buttons, are designed with clear focus and hover states.
- Pages are structured with semantic elements such as header, navigation, main, and footer for improved accessibility.
- Navigation, search functions, and several critical components of the site have been manually tested and optimized through both manual and automated methods, including:
- Zoom functionality up to 400%
- Full keyboard navigation
- Screen reader testing with VoiceOver
- Automated testing with AXE
Conformance Status
The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) provide standards for improving accessibility for individuals with disabilities, defining three levels of compliance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA. educationreform.id is currently partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA, with ongoing efforts to achieve full compliance. Certain portions of the site do not yet fully meet the accessibility standards. We are actively reviewing frequently used pages and tools and implementing updates to enhance usability for all visitors. Users who encounter accessibility barriers are encouraged to inform us so that we may address them more effectively.
