Job Responsibilities

Financial Modeling & Cost Analysis

  • Implement Activity-Based Costing (ABC) methodology to analyze true cost structure per academic program
  • Build comprehensive financial models with revenue projections, cost scenarios, and sensitivity analysis
  • Conduct profitability analysis by program, faculty, and revenue stream
  • Identify hidden costs and inefficiency drivers in operational expenditure

Budget & Planning

  • Support development of multi-year financial plans aligned with strategic objectives
  • Design zero-based budgeting frameworks for resource allocation
  • Create financial dashboards and KPI tracking systems
  • Develop business cases for capital investments and new initiatives

Waqf Endowment Development

  • Research best practices in Islamic endowment fund management
  • Develop governance frameworks and investment policy for institutional waqf fund
  • Create fundraising strategies and donor engagement programs
  • Design financial reporting systems for endowment transparency

Job Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • Completed or in the process of completing a bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Industrial Engineering, or related field (minimum GPA 3.30/4.00)
  • Sufficient degree of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, management consulting, or operational improvement roles
  • Fresh graduates and last year students without class commitments with exceptional academic records and relevant internship experience are especially encouraged to apply

Core Competencies

  • Financial Analysis: Strong foundation in financial statements, costing methodologies, and budget management
  • Quantitative Skills: Advanced proficiency in financial modeling, scenario analysis, and data analysis
  • Operational Thinking: Ability to identify process inefficiencies and design practical improvement solutions
  • Business Acumen: Understanding of higher education economics and institutional sustainability

Technical Skills

  • Excel: Advanced level (pivot tables, complex formulas, financial modeling, scenario analysis)
  • Financial Tools: Familiarity with accounting systems, ERP platforms, or financial planning software
  • Data Analysis: Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau) is a plus
  • Process Mapping: Proficiency in tools like Miro, Lucidchart, or similar

Language & Communication

  • Professional proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia (written and verbal)
  • Ability to present complex financial data in clear, accessible formats
  • Experience preparing board-level financial reports and presentations

Personal Attributes

  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical rigor
  • Comfortable working with large datasets and financial models
  • Proactive problem-solver who can work independently
  • Understanding of Islamic finance principles is advantageous
