Job Responsibilities

Strategic Planning & Analysis

  • Conduct comprehensive institutional diagnostic analysis including stakeholder interviews, document reviews, and competitive benchmarking
  • Develop strategic frameworks for the institution's positioning as a leading pesantren-based university
  • Design and facilitate strategic planning workshops with university leadership
  • Create portfolio analysis of academic programs and recommend rationalization strategies

Revenue Diversification

  • Map and evaluate potential non-tuition revenue streams including corporate training, executive education, endowment, and industry partnerships
  • Develop business cases and feasibility studies for new revenue initiatives
  • Design go-to-market strategies for new service offerings

Operational Excellence

  • Map and analyze key operational processes (academic delivery, administrative functions, support services)
  • Identify opportunities for process optimization, digitalization, and shared services
  • Conduct capacity utilization analysis for infrastructure and human resources
  • Design efficiency improvement initiatives with clear ROI projections

Governance & Implementation

  • Design Project Management Office (PMO) frameworks and governance structures
  • Develop implementation roadmaps with clear milestones and accountability mechanisms
  • Create OKR (Objectives and Key Results) systems and performance dashboards
  • Support change management and stakeholder communication

Job Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • Completed or in the process of completing a bachelor's degree on any subject (minimum GPA 3.30/4.00)
  • Some experience (internships count!) in areas such as consulting, corporate strategy, or institutional transformation projects
  • Fresh graduates and last year students without class commitments with exceptional academic records and relevant internship experience are especially encouraged to apply

Core Competencies

  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to analyze complex organizational challenges and design practical, implementable solutions
  • Structured Problem-Solving: Proficiency in frameworks such as Porter's Five Forces, SWOT, Business Model Canvas, Theory of Change
  • Stakeholder Management: Experience engaging with C-level executives and managing diverse stakeholder expectations
  • Research & Analysis: Strong capability in qualitative and quantitative research methodologies

Technical Skills

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
  • Experience with project management tools (Asana, Notion, or similar)
  • Familiarity with strategic planning frameworks and methodologies
  • Basic financial literacy and business case development

Language & Communication

  • Excellent written and verbal communication in Bahasa Indonesia (native or professional proficiency)
  • Strong business writing skills for proposals, reports, and presentations
  • Ability to translate complex concepts into clear, actionable recommendations
