Core Team
The core team drives the heart of the Indonesian Institute for Education Reform. Led by the Executive Director and supported by a future Board of Trustees, it includes dedicated directors and managers for Programs, Services, and Research.


RAFSI ALBAR
Rafsi is formerly a government advisor holding a Bachelor of Laws degree from Universitas Gadjah Mada. His focus on public [and] international law leads him to become very passionate about children's rights and education.
He is the Diana Award-winning co-founder of FlashCampus, a platform helping Indonesian college students get exposed to various opportunities and mentors. The platform is now a part of Youth Catalyst Foundation, the largest legal entity focused on college students by way of impact in Southeast Asia - which Rafsi now also leads as its Managing Director.
Most recently, Rafsi was appointed as a Member of the Board of the Child and Youth Friendly Governance Project, a Geneva-based international NGO aiming to put children and young people at the heart of decision-making.


ELEAZAR MOELJONO
Ezer's capacity as an educator can be proven by his wealth of experience in teaching, administering, mentoring, and leading fundraising in the education industry for the past 7 years.
At university, he strived to connect with education leaders both in Indonesia and abroad, notably through his research presentation at the Oxford STORIES Conference in 2021.
Ignited by the call to drive upward social mobility through education, Ezer initiated Pitulung, a ministry serving leadership curriculum development and inclusive fundraising for potential Indonesian future leaders.
His exceptional commitment to teaching and enriching the lives of others through education earned him recognition as an "Inspiring Everyday Indonesian Hero" by the World Economic Forum's Global Shapers Jakarta in 2023.
SCHALKE ANINDYA
Schalke is a rising scholar with a Bachelor's degree in Economics at Universitas Gadjah Mada. Her interest in policy and research has led to a wealth of professional experience in the relevant industry.
She has been honored as Indonesia's Most Outstanding Student 2023 by the Ministry of Education, Research, and Technology. Her victorious proposal centered on improving the caliber of college graduates to aid in realizing Indonesia's ambition of becoming a developed country by 2045.
Schalke's tenacious leadership qualities have propelled her to multiple leadership roles, including the award-winning 180 Degrees Consulting UGM, a pro-bono consultancy for non-profits and social enterprises.


ERLANGGA UBASZTI
Elang is a research and policy analyst who completed his studies on Politics and Government at Universitas Gadjah Mada. His diverse roles in consulting and research have equipped him with specialized skills in the government, public sector, and state-owned enterprises.
Aligned with his calling to create a sustainable impact, Elang assumes the role of the Managing Director of SORA Consulting, a pro-bono consultancy assisting NGOs through collaboration with young professionals.
His research involvement includes experience at Skha, Markplus, National Geographic Society, and United Cities and Local Governments Asia-Pacific (UCLG ASPAC). Currently, he delves into socio-economic research with the World Resource Institute.
Independent Fellows
Fellows are key thought partners who contribute expertise, insight, and innovation to the institute’s work. Structured across Junior, Mid-Senior, and Senior levels, they support research, program design, and strategic dialogue—bringing fresh perspectives while staying connected to real-world impact.


ZAKIYAH SALSABILA
Zakiyah is an M.Ed. graduate in the Higher Education Administration at Vanderbilt University. She obtained her undergraduate degree in Management with a minor in Consumer Science from IPB University.
Her previous career positions include Program Officer for the Sub-Directorate for Development of Student Reputation and Achievement at IPB University and Course Lead Building a Sustainable Agriculture Ecosystem with Innovation and Technology as a part of a program under the Indonesian Ministry of Education. In her spare time, Zakiyah loves creating social media content and walking around nature.
She is excited to be part of the Peer Career Mentors team at her alma mater and is looking forward to helping others reach their career goals.
DEVINA FAUSTANISA
Devina is an Ed.M graduate in Human Development and Education from the Harvard Graduate School of Education. She previously studied Psychology at Universitas Indonesia.
Devina has been actively involved in educational projects ranging from elementary to higher education. She is interested in working on various educational initiatives, focusing on capacity development, such as enhancing college and career readiness for youths.
Devina is returning to Indonesia intending to impact the country's educational landscape. Her future aspirations include working in underserved communities, focusing on capacity development. She aims to create impactful educational programs that empower and support youth in their academic and career journeys.
